About this Fountain pen
A circa 1935 Dunhill-Namiki #3 Balance fountain pen finished in black lacquer with gold togidashi maki-e and raised taka maki-e decoration of lilium flowers and foliage. Signed in kanji with a red kao, it is a highly collectible Japanese lacquer pen fitted with a 14ct Dunhill-Namiki nib and lever-filling system.
